perimeter =24
Area=27

perimeter=2(l+b)
24=2(l+b)
24/2=l+b
12=l+b

l*b=27

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B) = 24

                                             L+B = 12..............................(1)

Area of rectangle = L × B = 27

B = 27/L..............................(2)

from (1) and (2)

L + (27/L) = 12

L² + 27 = 12 L

L² - 12L + 27 = 0

So solving this equation we get,

L = 9 or L = 3

But length is greater so L = 9 m

B = 27/L = 27/9 = 3 m
