Hiiii..
let the length and the breadth of the rectangle be 5m and Xm respectively.
and it's perimeter be 25m=2(l+b)
According to question.
25=2(5+x)
25/2=5+x
12.5=5+x
12.5-5=x
x=7.5= breadth
hence the other side is 7.5m
hoping it will help u

Answer:

Length of other side = 7.5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Perimeter ,P= 25m

Length of side, x = 5m

To find :

Length of other side

Step 1:

Assume, length of other side is 'y' m.

Step 2:

Formula to find Perimeter of rectangle is P=2(x+y)

where x,y are length of sides.

Step 3:

Substitute given values in formula,

25 = 2(5+y)\\\\25=10+2y\\\\2y=25-10\\\\2y=15\\\\y=\frac{15}{2}\\ \\y=7.5

Step 4:

Length of other side,y= 7.5 m
