Answer: 12 cm

Solution:

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b)

30 = 2 (l + 3)

30 = 2l + 6

30 - 6 = 2l

24/2 = l

12 = l

Therefore, the length is 12 cm. Explanatiom of Terms

Answer:-

Given,

Perimeter of the rectangle = 30cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 3cm

Length of the rectangle = ?

Let the length of the rectangle be x

As we know , perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

2(x+3)=30

2x+6=30

2x=30-6

2x=24

x=24÷2

x=12

Therefore, length of the rectangle = 12cm.
