Area of the Rectangle=length * Breadth;
we Know the perimeter and width,So by using formula of Perimeter we can Find the Width of the Rectangle
therefore,Perimente=2(l+b);
-------32=2(l+7)j
----------32=2l+14
---------32-14/2=l
---------9cm=l
Now,using Formula of Area of rectangle=9*7;
Therefore,Area of rectangle=63cm Square

Answer:

Area of the rectangle is 63 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that ,

Perimeter of the rectangle is 32 cm and the width of the rectangle is 7 cm.

Let,

  • Length of the rectangle = x cm

Formula used :

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

According to the question,

2(x+7) = 32

→ x+7 = 32/2

→ x+7 = 16

→ x = 16-7

→ x = 9

Then,

★ Length of the rectangle = 9 cm

Formula used :

{\boxed{\sf{Area\:of\: rectangle=length\times\: width}}}

Area of the rectangle,

= length× width

= (9×7) cm²

= 63 cm²

Therefore, Area of the rectangle is 63 cm².
