Given :-

The perimeter of a Rectangle is 320 metres and it's length is 125 metres

find :-

breadth of rectangle ( b)

solution :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth )

320m = 2 ( 125 + b )

320 =250 + 2b

320 - 250 = 2b

70 m / 2 = b

35 m = b

ur Answer is 35m

{\textsf{\textbf{\underline{\underline{The perimeter of a Rectangle is 320 metres. If its length is 125 metres its breadth is 35 metres . \::}}}}} \\

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

  • The perimeter of a Rectangle is 320 metres.
  • Its length is 125 metres.

To Find:

  • Breadth of a rectangle.

Formula used:

  • Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

Finding the breadth of a rectangle:

According to the question.

⟶ 320 = 2(125 + Breadth)

⟶ 125 + Breadth = 320/2

⟶ 125 + Breadth = 160

⟶ Breadth = 160 - 125

⟶ Breadth = 35

{\textsf{\textbf{\underline{\underline{∴ Breadth of a rectangle = 35 metres\::}}}}} \\

More formula of rectangle:

  • Area of a rectangle = (Length × Breadth)
  • Diagonal of a rectangle = √[(Length)² + (Breadth)²]
