The perimeter of a rectangle is 36 cm, if its length is 13 cm then its breadth is ?​

To Find :-

Breadth

Solution :-

As we know that

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

Let the breadth be x

 \tt \: 36 = 2(13 + x)

 \tt \:  \dfrac{36}{2}  = (13 + x)

 \tt \: 18 = 13 + x

 \tt \: 18 - 13 = x

 \tt \: 5 = x

Hence :-

The breadth of rectangle is 5 cm.
