The perimeter of a rectangle is 40 cm

Let the length be 2x

Breadth = 3x

Perimeter of the rectangle

 \huge= 2(2x + 3x)

 \huge = 2 \times 5x

 \huge 10x

By the condition

 \huge \: or \: 10x = 40

 \huge \: or \: x =  \frac{40}{10}

 \huge \: x = 4cm

Length = 2×4

= 8cm

Breadth = 3×4

= 12cm
