So,

perimeter=40cm

Let the breadth be (x)cm

Then the length is (2x+4)cm

ATQ,

=> perimeter= 2(length + breadth)

=> 40=2[(2x+4)+(x)]

=> 40/2=2x+x+4

=> 20+4=3x

=> 3x=24

=>. x=24/3

=>. x=8

length = 2x+4=2×8+4=20cm

breadth=x=8cm

this question was very easy......isn't it??
