✠ Given :-
- Perimeter of rectangle = 42 cm
- Length of rectangle is double of it's breadth
------------------------------------------------------
✠ To Find :-
- Length and breadth of the rectangle
------------------------------------------------------
✠ Solution :-
Let :
- Breadth of rectangle = x
- Length of rectangle = 2x
★ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( L + B )
→ 42 = 2 ( 2x + x )
→ 42/2 = 3x
→ 21 = 3x
→ x = 21/3
→ x = 7
Therefore :
- Breadth of rectangle = 7 cm
- Length of rectangle = 14 cm

Given:
Perimeter: 42 cm
Let Breadth be = x
Length = 2x (as it's double the breadth)
Solⁿ:
Formula : peri. = 2(l+b)
So,
Breadth = 7 cm
Length = 2x => 2×7 = 14 cm
Hope it helps
