Answer:

Width =9, length =13

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width be X

Therefore length = 2x-5

According to question

2{2x-5 + X} =44

2(3x - 5) =44

3x-5=44/2

3x-5=22

3x=22+5

3x=27

X=27/3

X=9

Length =2x-5

Length =2*9-5

Lebgth=13

Width=x

Width=9

  • Dimensions of rectangle

 \huge\bf\underline \green{Solution:-}

  • Let the width be x cm
  • So, length = 2x-5

Perimeter of rectangle= 2( length+ breadth)

➝ 44 = 2(x+2x-5)

➝ 44 = 2(3x-5)

➝ 44 = 6x -10

➝ 44 +10 = 6x

➝ 54 = 6x

➝ x = 54/6

x = 9cm

So,

  • width of rectangle = 9cm
  • Length of rectangle = 2(9)-5
