Let the length of Rectangle be X cm
And,
Breadth of Rectangle be Y cm.
Perimeter of Rectangle = 48
2 ( L + B) = 48
X + Y = 48/2
X + Y = 24 .

Let variables,
For length = l
For breadth = b
×××××××××××××××
We know perimeter of rectangle =2(length +breadth)
Your answer =>
48 = 2(l+b)
48/2 = l + b
24 = l + b
