( 48 area ) ÷ ( 6 side W ) = ( 8 other side L )

perimeter = L + W × 2 .

L 8 + W 6 = 14 × 2 = 28 .

Perimeter of the rectangle= 2(l+b)=48
2(l+6)=48
2L+ 12=48
2L=48-12
2L= 36
L=36/2=18

Length of the rectangle =18m
