Rectangle has 4 sides, 2 are length and 2 are breadth

We have the length here given as 6 cm

As there are 2 sides as length, we will multiple 6 with 2 = 12 cm

Perimeter = 48

2 sides of breadth (in cm) = 48-12=36

As there are the sides as breadth, we shall divide 36 by 2 = 18 cm

Answer = Breadth is 18 cm.

*Breadth = Width

Answer:

Width = 18 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We know, Perimeter of a rectangle = L + L+ W+ W
And L is given which is 6 cm.
'W' i.e width we need to find;

So, 48 = 6 + 6 + 2W
 ⇒ 48 - 12 = 2W
 ⇒ 36 ÷ 2 = W
∴ W = 18

Thus, the width of the rectangle = 18 cm
