Hey!! here is your answer......
perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
Given=length =32cm
perimeter=50
let breadth =b
perimeter =2(l+b)
50=2(32+b)
50÷2=32+b
25=32+b
25-32=b
-7=b

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that, the perimeter of a rectangle is 50 cm and its length is 32 cm.

Let,

  • Breadth of the rectangle = x cm.

Formula used :

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

According to the question,

2(32+x) = 50

→ 32+x = 50/2

→ 32+x = 25

→ x = 25-32

→ x = -7

After calculation, we get x = -7.

But breadth of a rectangle can't be in negative sign. That's why your question is wrong.
