breadth=x
length=x+5
perimeter=2*(x+x+5)
50=2*(2x+5)
50/2=2x+5
25=2x+5
2x=25-5
2x=20
x=20/2
x=10

breadth=x=10
length=x+5=10+5=15

let breadth be x
therefore, length = x + 5
now perimeter = 2 *length * BREADTH
therefore, 2 *(x + x + 5) = 50
2x + 5 = 25
2x = 20
x = 10
therefore breadth = 10cm
also length = 15cm
