Answer:

breadth =x

length x+5

perimeter= 2*(l+b)

or, 50=2*(2x+5)

or, 4x+10=25

or, x=15/4

length=15/4+5

Answer:

a) p = 4a+10

b) l = 15cm ; b = 10cm

Step-by-step explanation:

a) given breadth = a

length = (a+5)

perimeter = 50cm

=> perimeter = (2)(l+b)

=> p = 2( (a+5)+a)

=> p = 2(2a+5)

=> p = 4a + 10

b) p = 4a + 10

=> 50 = 4a + 10

=> 4a = 40

=> a = 40/4

=> a = 10

b = a = 10cm

b = a = 10cml = a+5 = 15cm
