Answer:

Perimeter = 2( l + b )

512m = 2( 156 + b )

512/2 = 156 + b

256 = 156 + b

b = 256-156

b = 100

the breadth is 100m.

Answer:

From the formula given above,

156 m = 2( length of the rectangle + breadth of the rectangle )

156 m / 2 = ( length of the rectangle + breadth of the rectangle )

Given in the question, breadth of the rectangular plot is 34 m.

∴ 78 m = ( length of the rectangle + 34 m )

78 m - 34 m = length of the rectangle

44 m = length of the rectangle

Again there is a important formula, \boxed{\text{Area of rectangle = length x breadth }}

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

So,

∴ Area of this rectangular plot = length x breadth

Area of this rectangular plot = 44 m x 34 m

Area of this rectangular plot = 1496 m^2
