Given a rectangle ;
- Perimeter P = 51cm
- let breadth = b
- then length = 15/2b
Thus perimeter = 2(l+b)
- P = 2(l+b)
- 51 = 2 ( 15b/2 + b )
- 51 = 2 (17b/2)
- 51 = 17b
- b = 3cm
Thus;
- lenght = 15b/2 => 45/2 => 22.5cm
- breadth = b = 3cm
