Answer:

2L + 2B = 54

⇒2(L+B) = 54

⇒L+B = 27

L=5+ B (GIVEN)

5+B+B=27

⇒2B + 5 = 27

⇒2B = 22

⇒B= 11

∴ L = 27 - 11 = 16

∴ AREA = 11 X 16 = 176

Answer:

Perimeter=54

length=x+5

breadth=x

THEN,

54=2 (x+x+5)

54=2 (2x+5)

54=4x+10

54-10=4x

44/4=x

11=x

LENGTH =11+5=16cm

BRAEDTH =11cm

AREA⬇

Length ×breadth

16×11

=176cm2ANS
