p=2(l+l-4)=56

then

l=16

b=12

ceraleysakura: breadth is still width right? Im not sure what a breadth is.
umitumang: length is l. and breadth or width is (l-4).

Answer:

Let length is x

width is x-4

perimeter is 56

P= 2(l+b)

56= 2(x +x-4)

56/2 = 2x - 4

28 + 4 =2x

32= 2x

32/2 =x

16=x

x-4 = 16-4

12

length =16

width = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

ceraleysakura: Im using an another solution which is x + (x-4) + x + (x-4)
ceraleysakura: ahh, ok. I get it. Thanks
