Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b) where l= length and b= breadth.

Here it is given that 2(l+b)= 57 cm and b= 37 so,

2(l+37)= 57
2l+74= 57
2l = 57-74
2l= 17. ( ingore the minus sign as length cannot be negative)
l= 17/2
l = 8.5 cm
