Step-by-step explanation:

LET THE LENGTH BE 1.5x AND THE BREADTH BE x.

2(1.5x+x)=60

1.5x+x=60/2

2.5x=30

x=30/2.5=12

THEREFORE,

LENGTH=1.5×12=18cm

BREADTH=12cm

ANSWER :

STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION :

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(L + B)

Since the Length is twice the breadth that mean the Breath is 2xB = 2B

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(2B + B)

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(3B)

Perimeter of a rectangle = 6B

60= 6B

Breadth = 10

Length = 2x10= 20

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 10 x 20 = 200cm
