the perimeter of a rectangle is 64 cm find the length is 12 cm. what is the width of the rectangle

answer is:

perimeter of rectangle=2(length+breadth)

perimeter=64 cm(given)

so,

=)64cm=2(12cm+breadth)

=)64cm=24cm+2breadth

=)64cm-24cm=2breadth

=)40cm/2=breadth

thus,breadth=20cm.

perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

where l=length of the rectangle

and,b=width of the rectangle

A/q , perimeter=64cm

2(l+b)=64

2(12+b)=64

therefore, b=20cm
