The perimeter of a rectangle is 68 cm. If it's breadth is 4 cm less then it's length, find the length and breadth.​

p = 68

let lenght be x

then breath = x - 4

L × B = perimeter

68 = 2(x+x - 4)

68 = 2(2x+ 4)

68 = 4x - 8

68 /2 = x - 2

17 + 2 = x

x = 19

now, breath = x - 4

= 19 - 4

= 15

length = 19 and breath = 15
