Assume that the value of length=x

then, breadth=x-4

perimeter of rectangle=2(L(length)+B(breadth))

                            68=2(x+(x-4))

                           68/2=2x-4

                             34=2x-4

                             34+4=2x

                              38=2x

                               x=38/2

therefore, x=19

length =19cm

breadth= 4cm less than the length

             19-4=15cm
