peri of rectangle =2( l+ b)
68=2(24+b)
34=24+b
b=10
therefore breadth of rectangle is 10 m
area of rectangle = l*b
area = 24*10
area =240m sq.
length of diagonal =underroot l sq. + b sq.
length = 576+100
length = underroot 676
l=36
hope it may help u......

any doubt comment!!!!!

---------------

the perimeter of rectangle is 2 ( l + b )

the perimeter is given to be 68m
the length is given to be 24m.

2 ( 24 + b ) = 68
48 + 2b = 68
2b = 68 - 48
2b = 20
b  = 10m

area of rectangle is length × breadth
24 × 10 = 240m²

now we know that every angle in a rectangle is 90° so we will use pythagoras theorem to find the diagonal.

H² = B² + P²
H² = 24² + 10²
H² = 576 + 100
H² = 676
H =√ 676
H = 26m

hope it helps :^)
