Perimeter of recrangle = 2(l+b)
Length = x
Breadth = x - 10
Perimeter = 2(x+x-10)
72= 2x+2x-20
72=4x-20
72+20=4x
92=4x
x=92/4
x=23

Length = x = 23
Breadth = x-10 = 23-10 = 13

hy...........

mate...................

 hope its help you

your question is

The perimeter of a rectangle is 72 m its breadth is 10 m less than its length find the dimension of a rectangle?

here is your solution

first step is

so perimeter of the rectangle is = 72 m

let the breath ? = x

length = x + 10

dimensions =

72 = 2 [ x+x+10]

72 = 2 [2x + 10 ]

second step is

72 / 2 = 2x + 10

36 = 2x + 10

36 - 10 = 2 x

26 = 2 x

x = 26 / 2

x = 13 m

so breadth = 13 m

length = 13 + 10 = 23 m

thankyou......
