Answer:

perimeter=72m

breath=b

length=b+10

perimeter=2(length+breath)

72=2(b+b+10)

72/2=2b+10

36-10=2b

26/2=b

b= 13.

Thus,

length=13+10=23.

breath=13.

Answer:

perimeter of a rectangle is 72 m.

its length is 10 m more than its breadth

let it's breadth be X

then it's length =X+10

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(L+B)

according to question

=2(L+B)=72m

=2(X+X+10)=72

=2(2X+10)=72

=4X+20=72

=4X=72-20

=4X=52

=X=52/4

=X=13

hence its length =10+X=10+13=23

it's breadth=X=13

its dimensions=23,13
