Answer:

Let the breadth be x cm and according to question length be 3x cm

So, perimeter=80cm-----(given)

=2(L+B) =80

2(3x+x) =80

2*4x=80

4x=40

or x=10

Hence, length is 30cm and breadth is 10 cm

Answer:

let it's breadth be x.

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

80=2(3x + x)

80/2= 3x+x

40=4x

40/4=x

10=x

therefore length=30

breadth=10

hope it helped.
