The perimeter of a rectangle is 80 cm.It's length is 2 less than double its breadth.Then what are the length and breadth of the rectangle​

Answer:

Since, Perimeter =2(l+b)

Here length =l and breadth =b

If the length and breadth of a rectangle are doubled.

then length =2l and breadth =2b

∴ perimeter of rectangle would be 2(2l+2b)=4(l+b)=2.2(l+b)

∴ if the length and breadth of a rectangle are doubled then its perimeter is also doubled.
