Answer :-

Given :-

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 80 m
  • Length = Width + 7 m

To Find :-

  • Length
  • Width

Solution :-

We know that,

Perimeter = 2 ( Length + Width )

Let the Width be x

Length = x + 7

Substituting the value :-

→ 80 = 2 ( x + x + 7 )

→ 80 = 2 ( 2x + 7 )

→ 80 = 4x + 14

→ 4x = 80 - 14

→ 4x = 66

→ x = 66 / 4

→ x = 16.5

  • Width = 16.5 m
  • Length = 23.5 m

According to the question,

  • Width = x
  • Length = x + 7

We know that,

\begin{gathered}\qquad \longmapsto \frak{{\red{ perimeter = 2 ( length + width )}} }\\ \\→ 80 = 2 ( x + x + 7 ) \\  \\ → 80 = 2 ( 2x + 7 ) \\  \\ → 80 = 4x + 14 \\  \\ → 4x = 80 - 14 \\  \\ → 4x = 66 \\  \\ → x = 66 / 4 \\  \\ → x = 16.5 \\\end{gathered}
