given :-

perimeter of the rectangle = 80m

ATQ,

the length of the rectangle is one meter more than twice it's breadth.

let the breadth of the rectangle be x

therefore it's length = 2x + 1

formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l + b)

➡ 2(l + b) = 80m

➡ 2(2x + 1 + x) = 80m

➡ 3x + 1 = 80/2

➡ 3x + 1 = 40

➡ 3x = 40 - 1

➡ 3x = 39

➡ x = 39/3

➡ x = 13m

hence,

breadth of the rectangle = x

= 13m

and length of the rectangle = 2x + 1

= 2(13) + 1

= 26 + 1

= 27m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be x m

Therefore.. Length =(2x+1) m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l+b)

80= 2(2x+1+x)

80/2= 3x+1

40=3x+1

40-1=3x

39=3x

39/3=x

13=x

Answer ::: breadth =13m

Length = 2×13 +1

27m
