given :-

perimeter of the rectangle = 80m

ATQ, length of the rectangle is one more meter than twice it's breadth.

let the breadth of the rectangle be x

therefore it's length will be = 2x + 1

formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l + b)

so we can write,

➡ 2(l + b) = 80 meters

putting value of b and l,

➡ 2(2x + 1 + x) = 80m

➡ 3x + 1 = 80/2

➡ 3x = 40 - 1

➡ x = 39/3

➡ x = 13m

hence,

  • breadth of the rectangle = x

= 13m

  • and length of the rectangle = 2x + 1

= 2(13) + 1

= 27m
