Answer:

Let breadth= x m

therefore length= x+1 m

perimeter= 2(l+b)

80= 2(x+1+x)

80= 2(2x+1)

80= 4x+2

78=4x

x= Breadth= 19.5 m

x+1= Length= 20.5 m

Answer:

Perimeter= 80 m

Length = 2x + x

Breadth = x

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

80 = 2(2x+x+x )

80 = 8x

80/8 =x

10 =x

Breadth = 10

length = 10 *2+10

= 30
