Answer:

25cm

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+b)

so, 2(l+17)=84

(l+17)=84/2

therefore,(l+17)=42

l=42-17

then length is 25cm.

Question

  • Perimeter of rectangle is 84m, Breadth is 17m.

To find

  • We have to find the Length of the rectangle.

Answer

\underline{\bf \gray{\dag}\:\mathfrak{as \ we\ know: :}}

\;\boxed{\sf{\purple{perimeter_{\:(rectangle)} = 2 \times (Length  +  Breadth)}}}

 \sf \green{breadth} \sf \rightarrow \sf \blue{17_{\:(m)}}

 \sf \pink{length} \rightarrow x

\sf\red{Perimeter} = \sf{\dfrac{{\cancel 84}}{{\cancel 2}}} = 42

\sf{Perimeter = Perimeter \div 2 - Breadth}

\sf{Perimeter = 42m - 17m \rightarrow 25m}

Hence, verified! that the Length is 25m.
