therefore 2 ( l + b ) = 90cm

→ 2 ( 26 + b ) = 90cm

→ 52 + 2b = 90cm

→ 2b = 90 - 52

→ 2b = 38

→ b = 38/2

→ b = 19cm

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(26+19)

= 2×45

= 90cm

thus the breadth of the rectangle is 19cm.
