Perimeter of given square = 16 × 4 = 64 cm
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b) = 64
because given p of sq. = p of rectangle

so
2(l + 12) = 64 \\ l + 12 = 64 \div 2 \\ l = 32 - 12 \\ l = 20
20 cm is the length

Hey dear!!

Here is yr answer....

Given,

rectangle breadth = 12m

side of square = 16m

perimeter of square = 4×s

= 4 × 16

= 64m

Perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square (given)

perimeter of rectangle = 64m

2(l+b) = 64

l+12 = 64/2

l+12 = 32

l = 32-12

l = 20

Therefore, length of rectangle = 20m

Hope it hlpz....
