The perimeter of a rectangle is equal to that of a square . If the length and breadth of the rectangle is 20 and 10 metres respectively ,find the area of a square

Given,

Perimeter of rectangle = Area of square

Now, Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(20 + 10)

= 2(30)

= 60cm

As Given, Perimeter of rectangle = Area of square

Therefore, 60cm = 60cm

Area of square = 60cm²
