The perimeter of a rectangle is equal to the perimeter of the square of side 15cm. if the side of the rectangle is 20 cm long, what is the breadth ?​

Perimeter of square = 4× side

= 4×15 = 60cm

Therefore the breadth = 2(l+b) = 60

= 2(20+b) = 60

= 40 + 2b = 60

= 2b = 60-40

= 2b = 20

$= b = \frac{20}{2}$

= b = 10 cm
