given, perimeter of rectangle =perimeter of square
so perimeter of square=4×side
4×15=60 cm
now given 60=perimeter of rectangle
60=2(l+b)
60=2(17+b)
60/2=(17+b)
30-17=b
13 cm will be the breadth

Side of square=15 cm
Perimeter=4×Side
=4×15=60cm
Let breadth=b
Length=17cm
Perimeter=2(l+b)
17+b=30(Since 2 is removed)
b=30-17=13cm.
Hope it helps^---^.
