answer : 11 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

1 side of square *4= perimeter

12*4 = perimeter

48 cm = perimeter

1 side of rectangle = 13

other side of rectange = x

2(13+x) = 48 ( formula for perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b) )

26 + 2x = 48

2x= 48- 26

2x= 22

x = 22/2

x= 11

therefore , the breath of rectangle= 11cm

Answer:

Breadth = 11cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of square = 4×side

= 4×12

= 48cm

A.T.Q:-

Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle.

So, the perimeter of rectangle is = 48cm

Now,

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

48 = 2l+2b

48 = 2×13 + 2b

48 = 26 + 2b

2b = 48-26

2b = 22

b = 22/2

b = 11cm

So, the breadth is 11 cm.
