perimeter of rectangle =2(L+B)= 2(24+16)=2*40=80cm
perimeter of square=4*s
80=4s,s=80/4=20

area of sqare=s^2=(20)^2=400

hope it helps you.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

" "" = 2 ( l+b)

= 2 (24+16)

= 2 X 40

= 80

Each side = 80/4

= 20

Area of square = s X s

= 20 X 20

= 400 cm Sq.
