Below is your answer:-

Perimeter given = 200m

Width = 40m

We know, Perimeter = 2(l+b)

2(l+40)= 200

2l + 80= 200

2l = 200-80= 120

l = 120/2 = 60m

Therefore, length = 60m

We know, area of a rectangle = l×b

= (60×40)m = 2400m² Answer.

Hence, Area of rectangle is 2400m²

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter is 200 m

breadth is 40 m

area =?

perimeter of rectangular area = 2(l+b)

200 =2(l+40)

200 = 2l + 80

200-80=2l

120=2l

120/2=l

60m=l

area of rectangal = l*b

=60*40

=2400sq. m
