the perimeter of a rectangular cardboard is 96cm, if its breadth is 18cm, find the length and area of the cardboard​

perimeter= 2L+2B

96=2L +2(18)

96=2L+36

96-36 =2L

60=2L

or 2L =60

L = 60÷2

or L=30cm
