perimeter of the square = 4 × 21 m = 84 m
atq,
p of rectangle = 84 m
therefore length of the rectangle = 84/2-14m = 28m
therefore area of the rectangle = 14× 28 m2 = 392metre square. ans.

Side of square field = 21m
Perimeter of the square = side x 4
=21 x 4
=84
So, perimeter of the rectangular field
=84 (given)
And, breadth = 14m
So,length = x (let)
Now,
2( l + b) = 84
2( x + 14) = 84
2x + 28 = 84
2x = 84 - 28
2x = 56
X = 56/2
X = 28
So, length = 28
Now,area of the rectangular field =( l x b) unit square
=(28 x 14) m square
=392m square
So, area of rectangular field = 392 m square

Hope it helps...!!!
