2(l+b)=100m

2(35+b)=100m

70+2b=100

2b=100-70

2b=30

b=30/2=15m

Area of a rectangle =l×b

35×15=525m^2

Answer:

The area is 525m²

Step-by-step explanation:

let the breadth be 'b'

perimeter = 2(length+breadth)

100 m = 2(35m + b)

100 m = 70 m + 2b

100m - 70 m = 2b

30m = 2b

30m/2= b

15 m = b

breadth = 15m

Area = length×breadth

Area = 35m×15m

Area= 525 m²
