Let the length be L and breadth be B
Given, perimeter = 120
2×(L+B) = 120
L + B = 60 -------(1)

Given, L - B = 40 -------(2)

(1)+(2) gives, 2L = 100
L = 50
From (1), B = 60-50 = 10

Area of rectangular field = L×B = 500
Side of the square field = √500 = 10√5
