Answer:

length:- 69, breadth:- 33

Step-by-step explanation:

Rectangle perimeter = 204

Let length l and breadth b

A.T.Q

l =3+ 2b

Area of rectangle :- 2(l+b)

> 204= 2(3+2b+b)

> 204= 2(3+3b)

> 204=6+6b

> 6b=204-6

> 6b= 198

> b = 198/6

> b = 33

l = 3+2b

l = 3+2(33)

l = 3+66

l = 69

Answer : length:- 69 , breadth:- 33

Given: The perimeter of a rectangular field is 204 metres.

Length is 3 metres more than twice its breadth.

To Find : the length and breadth of the field.

Solution:

Breadth of the field  = x  m

Length of the field = 2x + 3  m

Perimeter = 2 ( length + Breadth)

=> Perimeter of the field = 2(x + 2x + 3 )  m

=>  Perimeter of the field = 2(3x + 3 )  m

=>  Perimeter of the field = 6x + 6  m

perimeter of the  field is 204 metres

Equate perimeter

=> 6x + 6 = 204

=> 6x  = 198

=> x = 33

breadth of the field = 33 m

Length of the field  = 69 m
