Answer:

(i)breadth =30m

(ii) area =2700m square

Explanation:

(i)perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

240=2(90+b)

240=180+2b

240-180=2b

60=2b

60/2=b

30m =b

Breadth=30

(ii)area of a rectangle=l×b

=90m×30m

=2700m square

Given :

⬤ Perimeter of Rectangular Field is 240 m .

⬤ Length of Rectangular Field is 90 m .

To Find :

⬤ Breadth of Rectangular Field .

⬤ Area of Rectangle .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Perimeter\:of\: Rectangle = 2(l+b)}\:]

  • l = Length .
  • b = Breadth .

Solution :

Let :

  • Breadth of Rectangular Field be b .

According to the Formula :-

240 = 2 (l + b)

240 = 2 (90 + b)

240 = 180 + 2b

240 - 180 = 2b

60 = 2b

60/2 = b

30 = b

Therefore , The Breadth of Rectangular Field is 30 m .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Rectangle = L\times{b}}\:]

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth

Now :

  • Length = 90 m .
  • Breadth = 30 m .

According to the Formula :-

l × b

90 × 30

2700

Therefore , The Area of Rectangular Field is 2700 .
