Answer:

Given that ;

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 240m
  • Length = 90m

( i ) Breadth

Perimeter of the Rectangle ( P ) = 2 ( l + b )

P = 2 ( 90 + b )

240 = 180 + 2b

240 - 180 = 2b

160 = 2b

b = 160 / 2

b = 80m

( ii ) Area

Area of the Rectangle = l × b

A = 90 × 80

A = 7,200 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L + B)

240 = 2(90 + B)

240 / 2 = 90 + B

120 = 90 + B

120 - 90 = B

30 m = Breadth

Area of Rectangle = L × B

Area = 90 m × 30 m

Area = 2700 m²
